The Center for an Agricultural Economy and the Northeastern Vermont Development Association
have been working with stakeholders around the NEK to develop a Food Systems Strategic Plan.
This summit will allow the public to learn about the key findings from the planning process,
and to discuss draft goals and recommendations.

What does the CAE mean by the word "stakeholder".Please define this term so public understand your efforts,thanks.
ReplyDeleteA stakeholder is a widely used term to describe a person or a group that has direct interest or involvement. You could also say a stakeholder is directly effected by the outcomes.
ReplyDeleteSome examples: Students in a school could be defined as stakeholders; patients in a hospital are stakeholders; farmers and consumers are stakeholders in our food system.
